They fly away and go sit somewhere far, i keep following them.
Its difficult in the wild, my mind on so many things, have to watch out for snakes, can't keep looking up all the time.

Most of the time i am under a tree and i hear the sounds of hundreds of birds like an unruly class room without a teacher, but i don't spot a single bird.
Where are you people ? Where are you hiding ?

Ahaa ! This is how you look !
Hellow ! Good morning !
Beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you.... thank you.
i am filled with gratitude.
Very early in the morning is the best time. Most of the time i am stunned when i see such colours and forget to take pictures.

The yellow stands out so strongly with the black. Birds are fascinating: so quick, so watchful and careful.

Dearest Angel, they are a lot bigger than a Canary, they a bit smaller than a crow. Have you studied what decides the colours Angel, does any one know ?
i always think about it. There must be some clue in the theory of natural selection. The colurs must have some function, some meaning.
Why crows are black ? Please tell me if you know Angel
    lots of love and hugs

All I know about "color sellection" is that the male of the given species is usually the one with the most colour - to attract the famale!

    We humans have all backwards.

Some of the color apparently also happens (obviously/you know this too) to make them more or less visible according to environment, preditors, etc.

I guess is somewhat radom - if there is such thing - from our perspective/present knowledge?

Why do we have/had (?) four races?
And then, colour variations among them? HM!?

The bird is a black-headed oriole.

Hi Angel, yes i'll do one post on how you can't spot river tern chicks sitting on a rock, they merge with the background, they look completely different from their parents. This is to fool the predators.

Attracting a female is big business Angel Amount of money people spend on perfumes clothes, there are some funny commercials too. A bride during a wedding ceremony leaves her husband and goes after a guy wearing some brand of perfume or deodorant.

    love and Hugs
