How elegant !! Tall chick long legs.
And what is this dash of blue ?
i don't know how colours are decided, looks like some one has smeared a little blue on the bird

These delicate creatures give me hope that still nothing seriously has gone wrong with this world, we have time, but it is fast running out.

    Such pretty & elegant birds.Never knew even they existed.stating frm there blue tinted face to the wonderful feathers and pinkish legs..Find out the name find out the name please

    The feather garniture is prettier than any 19th century dress.

    Love the reflection in the last photo especially.

    In the top one he/she looks like he's gonna slip!

    oh my god Mystic Rose, my friend bought a fan made out of peacock feathers, and wanted to present it to his friend in US. i discouraged him. Luckily he forgot to pack it.

    There are poems written about long necks too, ' Surahi daar Gardan, but no poems and songs on long legs in Urdu or Hindi poetry

    Mystic Rosei checked up in dictionary what gossamer is, but still not clear for me, it says some kind of delicate fabric something like cobweb

    Ruth, why a dash of blue ?
    Amazing. Prathula says some one must have smeared ink. but these are wild birds, some kind of egrets. Some one must have done some study about what really decides the colours

    Sangita, they look like common Egrets, there are so many varieties, i'll post pictures of multi coloured beak of Egrets. Rest of them are pure white. Very delicate creatures, and very graceful in flight. Look lovely when they spread their wings
